PATTERN MIXING

When it comes to mixing patterns, don't be scared... You can do it!  Above you will see that I combined a leopard faux fur with a windowpane plaid off-the-shoulder top and plaid heels.  The sound of that all might seem intimidating, but when done correctly, it actually makes for a fabulous statement outfit.  The key is keeping everything but the coat in the same color family.  As you can see, I paired blue denim (this pair is my latest obsession...who knew I had shape back there?!) with a top and shoes that both had a blue base, along with pops of red.  Had my pants been plaid, however, I would have kept my top and shoes solid.  If you haven't invested in a leopard coat this season, I say, "Get on it girl!"  Consider it a classic staple that can help you take any outfit from drab to fab.

I hope you all are off to a great week, and thanks so much for stopping by!
