I am SO excited to be collaborating with one of my favorite brands, Julie Brown NYC. August is a tough month for me to shop because I always want to buy pieces that I can wear now. However, because I live in NJ - where we maybe have a month left of warm weather <insert sad face> - I don't want to spend money on clothing that I can't transition into the fall. Luckily for us, Julie Brown has created the most perfect solution for this need in the form of her insanely fabulous "Maxie Dress," which possesses the material, cut, and color scheme to hop between seasons. Today I will show you how to style this favorite dress of mine now, as well as later!
Above you will see that I brought a lighter, warm-weather friendly style to this safari-printed dress (how gorgeous is this design?!) through a turban and wedge sandal. This look is perfect to get you through the rest of summer, or if you live someplace that's always warm, then this is the perfect all-season outfit. For those of us here in the Northeast, as we approach the end of September, we start to feel a crisp chill in the air, and that's the cue to pack up our summer sandals and bring out the boots. Below you will see that, by adding my favorite Aquazzura over-the-knee brown version from last season, I am ready for fall!
