Sooo... I have never actually cooked a Thanksgiving dinner, but I do host breakfast, so that's totally an excuse to set a cute tablescape, right?! A family tradition of mine - for as long as I can remember - is to spend the Wednesday before Thanksgiving with my dad searching for the best bagels and lox (all recommendations in the tri-state area are welcome!) to serve on Thanksgiving morning. There are usually 6 to 10 of us, and we always start the morning off with Bloody Mary's or James' cider cocktail, which I have shared the recipe for below, while watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Afterwards, this year we'll partake in some family skeet shooting before gathering at my in-laws' for dinner. I cannot wait!
I hope you all have a lovely Thanksgiving, and please know how thankful I am for all of you!
