A couple of weeks ago, my husband James and I made our annual "leaf peeping" trip to Vermont, and, boy, was it amazing! Vermont is so beautiful this time of year - the rich colors of the leaves are truly magical, and, along with the crisp fall air, they made for the most romantic of atmospheres :)
Here is a breakdown of our weekend!
Where we stayed: The Equinox Resort in Manchester
What We Did:
Massages at the Equinox Spa: Hands down, the best massage I have ever had.
Shopping at Simon Pearce: Although a bit distant from where we stayed, a visit is well worth the drive, which provides a great way to take in the foliage. (The store also has an incredible restaurant.)
Drinks and live music at Falcon Bar.
A stroll around Woodstock, which is the most charming little town ever.
Shopping in Manchester, a town known for its great outlets.
Cozy walks with our fur baby (the hotel is dog friendly!).
Where We Ate:
Dinner at the Marsh Tavern (ask for a table near the fire and try their kale salad)
Lunch at The Red Rooster at the Woodstock Inn
Fresh Warm Cider Doughnuts from the Equinox Hotel
Dinner at the Copper Grouse at the newly opened Taconic Hotel
Brunch at the Dorset Inn
