I was extremely honored when America's Best Racing invited me to attend Haskell Day at Monmouth Park Racetrack. What a day! I was so fortunate to have had the opportunity to see American Pharaoh race live in my lifetime, and I will never forget this experience. The beauty and power, which that horse possesses, is something truly magical.
Teaching us how to properly bet (I should probably stick to my day job), providing us with all-you-can eat and drink, allowing us to get up close and personal with horses in the paddock, and giving us VIP access to special areas near the racetrack, America's Best Racing really went over-and-above to show my husband and me a wonderful day. We were also super-honored to have been nominated by the Lilly Pulitzer store at The Shops at Riverside for best-dressed (sadly, we didn't win, but the couple that did was adorable!). If you live in the New Jersey area, I highly recommend attending this event next year. The track really has an old-school charm that makes you feel as if you've gone back in time... you know I love that stuff :)
