BABY BABY SHOWER

Many of you might not know that I actually get quite overwhelmed in large crowds when they involve a lot of attention on me (I know, so odd, right?!).  You can only then imagine that the thought of a baby shower literally gave me heart palpitations...  Well, for a girl who insisted she didn't want a baby shower, I certainly am glad no one listened to me! Words cannot even begin to describe how grateful and honored I was to receive two of the most thoughtful and beautiful parties that a girl could dream of.

For my first shower, four of my best NJ girlfriends threw a party that could not have been more "me" - a baby cocktail party! I wanted everyone to have fun, get tipsy, and laugh a lot, all while eating the most delicious food. Mission majorly accomplished! My girlfriends co-hosted the shower with my friend Sofia at her home, which is truly one of the most exquisite residences that you will ever step foot in.  Sofia, Katy, Steph, and Cristina were all born to entertain; they each place so much thought and love into everything they do, and no detail was left undone.  The party was pure perfection, and I will cherish the memories of that night for the rest of my life!

The MOST magnificent flower arrangements I have ever laid eyes on were done by SAHOLA // Hair: Lorena from J Walker Salon // Earrings: Latest Version // Dress: Sold out but, this is it if you want to try to find it! // Shoes: Jimmy Choo (old) // Party Favors: Blue Prosecco (how amazing is that?!) +  Sugarfina Champagne Bears (tags by Dixie Design)

My second shower was thrown by my MIL (mother-in-law), Pam, at the beautiful home where my husband grew up (another one of the most exceptional homes I have ever been in!).  If you have ever had the privilege of meeting Pam, then you know how very lucky I am to have her in my life.  She is also a woman who was born to entertain and who puts her whole heart and soul into making her loved ones feel like the most special people on earth.  The luncheon she threw for me was more traditional in the shower sense, but it was done in such a way that it was very "Alex"... aka she made sure the ambiance of the whole afternoon was very "baby chic".  The entire experience honestly could not have been more perfect.  Our little boy is so incredibly lucky to have a grandma as special as Pam - she is truly the best!

Navy Embellished Dress // Chocolate Covered Oreo Favors // The most beautiful cake EVER (and it tastes just as amazing as it looks) is from Desserts of Distinction

Thank you to all those in my life who have made this pregnancy such a special time for me.  Your love and thoughtfulness have not gone unnoticed, and I am so incredibly fortunate that my son will be surrounded by the most incredible family and friends.
